After the main house burned down on this old farm in southern Sweden many years ago, no one lived here and the estate remained abandoned. Maria and Christian were just looking for a new place to live for their growing family, and their attention was drawn to this farm with a large plot and potential. The couple built the cottage from scratch in a traditional style as they wanted the house to resemble the original structure, which was destroyed by fire. Now this is a cozy oasis of Scandinavian country living and a beloved nest for its owners.
